gardening, reading, writing, painting, interior decorating /design, DIY projects, the great outdoors, playing guitar and

Casey is a humanitarian, an artist, a composer, a dreamer, a mom, a survivor... and a flower child. She began her practice at the age of 18 as she grappled with her weight, low self esteem, trauma & addiction- she felt broken. She was humbled when she found something more: Breath, space in her body, and a quieter mind. Casey found, over the years, a deeper connection to the practice; to her inner strength and wisdom that thrust her into a life-long journey of self discovery. She carries several certifications in alignment, yin, Vinyasa & Yoga Nidra meditation with over 700 hours of YTT. Casey has been teaching in and around the bay area since 2009. She is passionate about being the change we wish to see in this world, and keeping it real. Casey's classes are down-to-earth, supportive and playful. She encourages you to stay present and appreciate the moment, whatever it has to offer.

Time with family, yoga, reading fiction & poetry, writing
Stacey discovered yoga by accidentally wandering into a vinyasa class, thinking it was a coffee shop. That fortuitous wrong turn turned into a life-changing moment as she watched students flow in graceful unison before melting into savasana's peaceful embrace. She returned the next day, and thirty years later, her practice is still going strong. Born and raised in the SF Bay Area, Stacey's yoga journey has taken her through studios and spaces across the region, from local gyms to university halls where she deepened her practice through formal study. After putting down roots in the East Bay with her family of five, she felt called to share her passion for yoga with others. In 2023, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training (RYT 200) in an intimate setting under the masterful guidance of Amelia Andaleon at Spiritually Fit Yoga, focusing on Hatha and Yin practices. Drawn to continue her education, she completed another 200-hour certification in Power Yoga in Fall 2024, expanding her expertise under Amelia's continued mentorship. When not on her mat, Stacey cherishes time with her family and finds parallel forms of mindfulness in reading fiction and poetry.

She didn’t know at the time how much yoga would change her life. She fell in love with the practice. Yoga has helped Lindsey become more self aware and better able to deal with life's daily stressors. Her home practice grew to a point where she sought additional training and, to date, Lindsey has completed a 200 YTT Certification from Square One Yoga, as well as a Dynamic Mindfulness Training from The Niroga Institute. Christine was born in Quebec, Canada and moved to California in 1995 to raise her family. She has been in tune with the energetic field since she was a child and believes strongly in the power of the present moment. Yoga came to her as a tool in recovering from knee and back injuries. After practicing for many years she felt a calling to dive deeper into the practice, becoming certified in several modalities. She believes that we are all our own best teacher; that she is but a supportive guide for her students in connecting to themselves. Christine is certified in EMYoga, or Energy Medicine Yoga, combining the benefits of a yoga practice with the use of acupressure points and Chinese meridians to optimize health in the body/mind- reconnecting to source. Christine's classes are warm and inviting with her calm & nurturing spirit guiding you through the practice.

What Our Students Are Saying"Casey is the best yoga teacher I’ve ever had! She eases you into poses and makes sure you're thinking about your tiny inner movements to keep you in alignment and safe from injury. All that wonderful guidance and knowledge is presented in humor and I have found myself giggling throughout every class. My mother and I are very different fitness levels and we equally enjoy her classes. She is such a warm, bubbly person I can’t recommend her classes enough!"
-Andrea "Casey is my favorite yoga teacher I’ve ever had. She was my teacher when I initially started practicing yoga. I’ve had teachers that have made me feel like I should be able to do something that my body was not yet capable of, but Casey always made every pose so accessible. She gives you options for how to modify the pose, while also coming around to physically help you into the correct position, without it being too much too fast. She has such a cheerful, friendly, and open personality and is wonderful at making everyone feel welcome. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Casey as a yoga instructor." -Melissa "Working with Casey Silva!! One of my most favorite teachers. An old soul with a plethora of knowledge, and wisdom, that I aspire to" -Mary Anne |
