Travel, Dance, art, poetry, Tarot, Nature, Skateboarding and live music
Jenna found yoga during a challenging time in her life, as many do. After graduating during quarantine and pursuing a nursing degree, she quickly realized she needed to take better care of her mental health so she made the challenging decision to step away from school and travel to Europe alone for a month. She somehow wound up at a school for yoga and Ayurveda in Denmark and after being immersed in the practices and philosophies, grew to love everything about it. When she came home, she took a job working reception at a studio and honing in on her practice. Two years later Jenna completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training. She is certified in Baptiste power vinyasa/vinyasa, meditation, yoga nidra, and restorative yoga (her favorite). Her vision for becoming a yoga teacher is to cultivate community and guide students in connecting deeper with themselves. Her favorite thing about yoga is that it helps develop compassion for the self and resilience to face the world. She is committed to creating a safe and sacred environment for self-acceptance and discovery. She says that she owes her livelihood to yoga, and she’s honored to be able to pass on the wisdom of this practice.

Steve was in excruciating pain from playing the violin and was ready to quit. Then he took an Alexander Technique lesson, and his life changed. He saw simple, hidden postural habits and little tensions. When he changed them, the pain went away. Pain turned into a teacher that he listened and responded to. He enrolled in a three year Alexander Technique teacher training program in Berkeley to continue his journey. He loves learning how you deal with chronic pain and tension. The principles of the Alexander Technique can empower you to do what you love - without the hurting.

Marlene worked as a Respiratory Therapist for 12 years, helping critically ill patients on their worst—and sometimes last—days, with the "simple" task of breathing. As a professional caregiver, self care became an even bigger priority, and she turned to yoga as a refuge from the physical and emotional stress of her job...and life, in general. She loved this full body meditation composed of hot sweaty poses. Her answer to any injury was to do more yoga and deeper poses, but the aches eventually persisted.
After practicing consistently for a few years, Marlene tried Spinal Release Yoga out of curiosity and as a solution to getting better sleep. Following a single class, her most nagging injury—tight hip flexors—truly melted away, however briefly, but she was hooked. The choice to teach was easy, and Marlene studied Foundations with Svaroopa® Vidya Ashram, and then completed her 200-hour Spinal Release Yoga Training with Yoga Educator, Kaya Mindlin. Marlene continues to be amazed at the profound effects of doing the same simple foundational poses, and continues to deepen her yoga practice with further studies in the Vedic Tradition.

Bio hacking/health metrics, life coaching, hiking, public speaking, writing, improv, swing dancing, cello, spiral dynamics
Bett found herself feeling stuck with a stressful tech job and an aging body looking back at her in the mirror asking for change, so she took a leap. She committed to practicing yoga everyday for 100 days. By day 30 she could already feel a transformation had begun. She gathered calm, had better sleep, and increased her physical stamina. 100 days came and went, and she kept going. Her friends would comment on how she looked stronger and healthier. She felt it in her body and didn’t want to go back to feeling less than her best. She ended up following in her mother’s footsteps and went to yoga teacher training. She studied with her mom’s favorite teacher, Kia Miller, receiving her certification in Radiant Body Yoga.
Bett now creates yoga-based wellness experiences born from her own practice. She melds the ancient wisdom of yoga with the modern science of health by sharing through the practice how the postures improve things like our blood sugar, sleep, and stress response. Bett leads classes that will leave you feeling calm, empowered and ready to take on new challenges.

Isabella is a traveler, in every sense of the word. She's traveled to different lands, states of being, and phases of life. She travels by way of foot, skates, paddle board, plane, movies, books, music, movement, art: through storytelling. Yoga is her travel companion in wherever she goes. It has been her greatest source for awakening inner creativity and awareness. Through these explorations, a permission to dream and envision life is accessed. “Inspiration comes easier when I am in discovery mode”
Isabella was instantly captivated with the way Yoga fosters acceptance, discovery and healing in the realms of the mind, body, and soul. The discipline and strength established and revealed through yoga is a parallel journey unfolding alongside the mat. She thrives on the possibilities that we create within and outside our own selves through the process of practicing yoga. Most of all she enjoys the playfulness and love that we begin to emanate when we undertake the adventure of movement and breath. Her classes are inspired by the dynamic energy and harmonious state of breath found in over a decade of Ashtanga practice. From flow vinyasa, to Yin or restorative, she integrates fluidity, creativity and gives special attention to the needs of the body. Most importantly the heart. Her classes are educational and playful. She emphasizes inclusive, trauma informed and nurturing aspects to her teaching style. Isabella is a student first and foremost, always searching and learning to refine her own practice and her teachings skills. She feels blessed to manifest her passions through teaching.

What Our Students Are Saying"Casey is the best yoga teacher I’ve ever had! She eases you into poses and makes sure you're thinking about your tiny inner movements to keep you in alignment and safe from injury. All that wonderful guidance and knowledge is presented in humor and I have found myself giggling throughout every class. My mother and I are very different fitness levels and we equally enjoy her classes. She is such a warm, bubbly person I can’t recommend her classes enough!"
-Andrea "Casey is my favorite yoga teacher I’ve ever had. She was my teacher when I initially started practicing yoga. I’ve had teachers that have made me feel like I should be able to do something that my body was not yet capable of, but Casey always made every pose so accessible. She gives you options for how to modify the pose, while also coming around to physically help you into the correct position, without it being too much too fast. She has such a cheerful, friendly, and open personality and is wonderful at making everyone feel welcome. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Casey as a yoga instructor." -Melissa "Working with Casey Silva!! One of my most favorite teachers. An old soul with a plethora of knowledge, and wisdom, that I aspire to" -Mary Anne |
